Exploring Long-Term Care Residents’ Rights: In Theory and In Practice

This presentation gives a general overview of the state and federal statutory rights of long-term care residents in both nursing homes and assisted living facilities, including the particular issues posed when an agent with a durable power of attorney or a guardian is involved. Presenters illustrate specific resident rights with examples from their actual client cases.
