OUR ISSUES

ELDER HEALTH

We advocate for access to healthcare for Florida’s most vulnerable older adults: those who need home and community based services (HCBS), those in institutions, those who need medically necessary care, including dental care, and those who are uninsured.

IMMIGRANT HEALTH

Our Immigrant Health initiative focuses on dismantling obstacles and ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare for immigrant communities. We provide essential education, resources, and advocacy to protect the health rights of immigrants.

LGTBQ+ HEALTH

We work to advance health equity and access to compassionate, comprehensive care for the LGBTQ+ community, working to ensure that every person, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation, receives the quality healthcare they deserve.

MATERNAL HEALTH

With a goal of improving maternal health outcomes, we advocate for comprehensive, quality maternal care by highlighting best practices, fostering community support, and pushing for policy changes to ensure maternal health equity.

CHILD HEALTH

Ensuring every child has access to necessary health services is at the heart of our mission. Through advocacy, education and direct support, we strive to remove barriers to healthcare for children, whether preventive care or specialized treatments.

Sometimes numbers speak louder than words. See how Florida is meeting, or failing to meet, current health challenges.

OUR APPROACH

Recognizing that access to quality and affordable healthcare is a human right, Florida Health Justice Project engages in comprehensive advocacy to expand healthcare access and promote health equity for vulnerable Floridians.
