Maria serves as FHJP’s Grants Manager/Development Associate, where she applies her expertise in strategic development and grants consulting to advance health equity initiatives. Drawing from over five years of experience in the grants and consulting industry, Maria has developed a multidisciplinary approach that spans both non-profit and for-profit sectors. Her professional experience encompasses strategic development, program evaluation, and grants management, allowing her to effectively bridge the gap between funding opportunities and impactful health initiatives.
Maria’s work reflects a deep commitment to addressing health disparities and advancing evidence-based solutions to complex social challenges. Her combination of international perspective, public health expertise, and grants management experience positions her to further promote health equity and serve as a catalyst for meaningful social change.
With a strong academic foundation, Maria holds a Master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Global Health Practice from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Miami.
