Jerry Leakey

Jerry graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2007 and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice in 2008 from the University of Central Florida. In 2012, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University’s College of Law.Jerry is a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County with the Pro Bono Department and has worked in numerous other areas at Legal Aid including but not limited to: Elder Law, Disaster Law, Small Business, Children’s Healthcare Advocacy Project, and as an Equal Justice Works Fellow helping elder exploitation victims.His current work in the Pro Bono Project allows him to help expand the accessibility of pro bono work for attorneys. Jerry and the pro bono team facilitate making pro bono work for attorneys easier through connection and resources, by expanding clinic offerings, providing trainings, and making pro bono cases more accessible.
