Elizabeth Jackson is one of three Community Engagement & Partnership Coordinators for the ARMOR Program at the Orlando VA Health Care System. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her master’s in social work at the University of Central Florida. As a CEPC she utilizes a community-based approach to develop and maintain effective working relationships within local communities to reduce veteran suicide and promote community connectiveness. Her counseling, teaching, and training experiences derive from working with military and Veteran populations within various agencies to include non-profit, state universities, federal, and private practice. Elizabeth has worked for the Department of Veteran Affairs for 19 years and has been working within the Orlando Community for the last 15 years. Elizabeth also served four years in the U.S. Army as an 88 Mike (Truck Driver) and deployed to Iraq in 2003.
