Christie Bhageloe, Esq. is the Director of the newly launched statewide Florida Veterans Justice Project at Florida Legal Services. Christie is a triple Gator, having received her B.A., M.A., and J.D. from the University of Florida. She has worked in the public interest field since her graduation from UF Law in 2010, including for Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, the 9thCircuit Public Defender, Statewide Training Director at Florida Legal Services, and mostrecently The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program, where she was the Director of theDischarge Upgrade Program.Christie enjoys reading, hiking, and outdoor yoga. She is the proud mother of two adult sons who graduated from FSU & USF (a house divided). Christie and her husband are empty nesters and you can usually find them taking their dog Ruby on adventures.
