Kate Williams

As the SSVF Health Care Navigator for the tri-county area (Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties), Kate serves our most in-need veterans to establish their health care connections with the VA and community care resources.Born and raised in Orlando, Kate attended local schools and graduated from Rollins College in ’98. She then worked in Savannah, GA and Hilton Head Island in various sales and marketing roles in the golf industry before returning to Orlando when her son was born. Kate launched the Membership program at RedTail Golf Club before it was completed. After a few years, she changed paths to go into higher education where she launched online MBA and MA programs for four top tier universities for 13 years. Due to Covid, the team was dismantled but it was the trajectory she needed to invest her passion into helping veterans. Kate was hired as the first Health Care Navigator for this area so it was yet again another launch! She have evolved this role to better serve each veteran in their specific needs. It is truly the best role she has ever had in her professional career.
