Haley Brown

Haley Brown joined the Florida Health Justice Project in 2025 with a dedicated background in legal services and consumer law. Haley began their legal career as an intern with the Tallahassee Bar Association while studying as an undergraduate student at Florida State University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Haley served as the intake specialist for the Legal Aid Foundation of Tallahassee, which sparked their passion for legal aid. Haley earned their Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2023 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2024. While attending Stetson University College of Law, Haley was an extern for the Homeless Advocacy Clinic, where they supported grant development and expansion of services for local legal aid programs. Prior to FHJP, Haley served as the Staff Attorney in the Financial Stability Unit of Gulfcoast Legal Services, where they focused on supporting vulnerable and marginalized individuals with consumer related matters. Haley is committed to community engagement and actively volunteers with St Pete Pride and the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay.
